Ive taken one 8 week course with Tamaki sensei and am soon to start my second. After trying Rosetta Stone and Duolingo for over a year, I was still missing this huge gap in Japanese grammar and sentence structure. Taking her course I immediately started to connect the dots and it was so helpful i’m coming back again for a second round! Still not where i want to be, but with Tamaki sensei’s help i am sure to get there.

I took the 8-week Introductory Japanese course with Tamaki-sensei and it was great. I felt real progress in a very short amount of time. The course was fun and interesting. I highly recommend the course if you have had any inkling of learning Japanese. It is the perfect way to dip your toes into the Japanese language and has made me want to keep learning more. As I had a one on one class, Tamaki-sensei was able to tailor the course to my pace so I felt completely engaged with each session.
